Working with a small number of groups who are HIV+ this strand offers taster sessions and longer programmes which explore a variety of art forms and health awareness. The arts sessions aim to be creative, fun and enjoyable. As the programme is developing the groups are increasing their confidence to create work around their own stories and health issues. Art work produced is presented in public places and events to raise awareness and to challenge stigma.
This strand works cooperatively with Derbyshire Positive Support and Derbyshire Friend.
